Gem Scan can laser inscribe your diamond with a unique name, serial number, logo or personal dedication. Each inscription is hidden to the naked eye, but is clearly visible when viewed through magnification. To create your inscription, a tiny, high-energy beam carefully marks the diamond around the perimeter. Laser inscription will not affect the quality of your diamond. All diamonds inscribed by Gem Scan are registered in the Diamond Laser Registry, providing a permanent record to confirm the diamond's authenticity, identity and ownership in the event of loss or theft.
